Here is a brief overview: The substantial modifications comprise 395 new codes, 25 deletions, 13 revisions, and updates to the addendum, tabular, code tables, and index. Although we are still awaiting details on the impending adjustments to CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes for 2024, we have already received notifications regarding the ICD-10 changes from CMS. Each year, the volume of these changes appears to increase. It is a time when we’re on the lookout for notifications about ICD-10 code updates.
